This world is going in the shitter. Well, that’s a well known statement but I just wanted to remind myself. Yesterday I learned about Mr. McCain’s bold, very bold move towards his election process. In a single day I’ve seen the whole continent turn upside down, republicans and democrats united in an American sense of bewilderment and the rest of the people, like me, the people that usually only give a single fuck about politics are doing things like this , like me.

So what do I think? Well after hearing the apparent news of the week about this Alaska chickie I also learned that, and I will quote Mr. McCain: “The vice president has two duties. One is to inquire daily as to the health of the president, and the other is to attend the funerals of Third World dictators. And neither of those do I find an enjoyable exercise.”

I feel the need to translate this in the words of a simpleton like myself and I believe it goes something like this: “Since the job of a VP is extremely uninteresting, effortless and dull it really doesn’t matter who I pick to do it, so I’ll pick a woman. Heck, that’s like killing to birds with the same stone, I’ll make the lady folk happy (somehow) and I’ll have somebody checking on my [moribund] health everyday.

This ain’t a sexist thing whatsoever, is it? And oh yes, it is very strategic: Let’s make happy all those broads that wanted Clinton as a President but that’s out the window. Well, I guess every vote counts it doesn’t matter if you’re being brainwashed into becoming a part of a mass of pure idiocy and following whatever. That’s America for you.

Now, I’ve never been one to follow this political nonsense very closely, or to be interested by it in any shape or form, but this election, for some reason seems and will be a historical one. I mean, on one hand we have what it seems to be a very decaying old fellow (who likes George W. Bush ), that has some good ideas but the douchebaggery seems to overcome all good things. On the other hand we have this guy, who is fondly? known in the streets of America as the Black President. Who has some good ideas but the fact that his skin color isn’t ghost like apparently could affect his performance.  Again, that’s America for you.

So, I presume we’re gonna have to sit and wait to see what happens. Just like a movie that’s gotten great reviews before is out there for the public to see, has gotten everybody really excited to go see it and ends up sucking like a pornstar on crack.

Aparentemente este domingo pasado hubo una tormenta bastante fuerte en Rio de Janeiro. Algun fotografo pudo capturar el momento en que un rayo le dio un cantazo a la gigantezca estatua de JC. Esta estatua tiene 130 pies de altura, y esta hecha de unas 700 toneladas de concreto reforzado. Se encuentra localizada en la cumbre de la montaña Corcovado, a 2,296 pies sobre la ciudad.

Mas de 160 personas se quitaron los pantalones y se montaron en el tren. El ride fue bastante largo porque fue desde Brooklyn hasta el tope de Manhattan y de vuelta. Eso es como dos horas si no me equivoco. La regla es que tienes que actuar como si fuese totalmente normal, y no puedes reaccionar cuando veas a los demas sin pantalones. Este evento lleva ya 7 años (carajo no lo sabia) y nunca han habido arrestos por exposicion. Es mas, en NYC es legal andar en ropa interior, lol.

Si quieres usarlo solo tienes que hechar una pesetita y la puerta se abre. El limite de uso es 15 minutos. 3 minutos antes de los quince, una luz roja te advierte. A los quince, la puerta se abre. O sea si estas tirandote una de esas cagadas monumentales mas vale que avances porque si no la gente te vera cuando se abra la puerta.

Enseñenme el baño ese dentro de un mes a ver si todavia esta igual de limpio y brillosito. Y que impide que un deambulante se meta alli a dormir? A ellos no les importa si la puerta se abre o no. No se, la idea no me convence.
